Megan (Kemp) Custard
I'm a graduate of Missouri State University's BFA Animation program. My focus is on learning how to improve expressing characters' emotions and the flow of 2D animation. I enjoy rotoscoping videos and designing characters for stories I've created. Currently I'm working for an online education industry where I'm creating fun graphics and animations that are used in the courses offered! My main focus is the elementary school area, so the animations are very kid friendly and entertaining
I'm familiar with many Adobe applications including Photoshop, After Effects, Media Encoder, and more; as well as Affinity Designer and Cartoon Animator 5. Some of my animations include sounds and music while others are just motions with. I specialize in 2D animations and rotoscoping, and both digital and traditional art. I have also done some freelance animation work.
I use to perform and coach color guard! Color Guard is an artistic sport that combines dance and flags, sabers, and rifles with musical pieces. I performed for 9 years, and coached and choreographed professionally for 5. Color guard has been a huge influence on my work because it's helped me become more confident and gain opportunities I wouldn't have had without it!
I do my best to stay in touch with friends from high school and college. We hang out through outings and vacations together. I enjoy playing D&D, listening to podcasts, and watching cartoons! And I have a little cat named Ciri.
